Hi Renee, Make no mistake, the chocolate is not a weight loss facilitator on it's own. The waste/weight loss is facilitated by the whole dietetic/cleansing picture -- the inclusion of the chocolate makes the process enjoyable, hence, sustainable for a lot of people. XoN

What is the most basic juice to make at home if you’re on a tight budget (maybe a 2-3 veggie based juice)? Which greens/veggies/fruits are essential during cleansing? Are enemas safe for someone in their 50’s who has had a gastric bypass?

hello! Question about salad dressing. I see we are not supposed to use olive oil and I'm accustomed to making my salad dressings with olive oil. So, I'm wondering how I can alter my go-to. What about a mix of lemon, stevia, fresh garlic and miso paste - would that be ok? thank you!

@auroralace Ohhh... I havent tried using miso paste. I may look into that one later. Depending on your taste preferences try avocado or tahini. With either of those just mix lots of fresh squeezed lemon juice and garlic... you'll never miss the olive oil. Try it... you may not even need stevia unless you just like the sweet.

@kandis Thank you for your suggestion. The avocado or tahini is a great idea and I do use both of those sometimes. Tahini just makes everything so yummy. But it wouldn't work if I have goat cheese on my salad. My question was really if a high quality miso paste is ok during the cleanse.

Hi Natalia-

Thank you for a most informative first lecture! I often have my first liquid later in the day around 5 or so. How much space is optimal to have between juice and dinner? Also, are chlorella tablets permitted! Thank you again! 🙂

I find I am OK fasting (green juice and veggie broth) until about 3pm. Hunger comes on intensely right when I'm in the car shuffling kids around from school. In this instance would you suggest eating before I leave (even if not hungry?)?

@liverichbefree - I can very much relate to this!! During this cleanse period, I think if you throw celery or cucumber slices into your purse (just in case hunger strikes) you are safe! Since your juice is your lunch... this should be ok imo.

On a typical day, I would bring carrots on my hour commute home from work. It saved me, as I wasn't a starving beast raiding the pantry when I got home.

I've focused on intuitive eating, so I personally wouldn't eat if your not hungry. Just bring those easy veggies with you... if you get hungry. 🙂

@kandis thanks! as I wrote this question I thought the same thing. I plan to make a tahini dip to have with crudite for tomorrow. i had olives this afternoon but it wasn't enough so i "caved" and made my usual green smoothie. tomorrow is a new day! 🙂

@liverichbefree - Right!! Hey a green smoothie is a lot better than many other things so nicely done. Took me months before I realized hey... I'm tired of raiding this pantry, I need to prep better. I have no will power so I'm that type that has to plan 🙁
